Partners

Kamalat äidit activities are developed in cooperation with different partners. When starting a group in a new locality, we try to find a partner who could provide with a meeting space and some light snacks or coffee.

Organisations, YWCA local associations, municipalities and parishes have become very involved in our activities and in almost every locality we have found a partner with whom we cooperate.

For our development activities, we work together with the VeNyvä project of the Association of One-Parent Families. Together, we develop, among other things, Kamalat äidit® online peer-support and pop-up activities.

The Finnish Refugees Council, MIELI Mental Health Finland, Nicehearts – Neighbourhood mothers and Suomen Somalinaisten kehitys are some of our partners for the diverse activities. We have also worked closely with other organizations such as Familia ry, Kalliolan Setlementti, Kanssala, Kehitysvammatuki 57, Moniheli (OmaPolku) and Monika Naiset ry and continue to develop our activities together with the Stepfamily Association of Finland, the Single Parents’ Association and ADHD association of Finland.
